It would be really nice if a merchant had a Dye Salvage Kit. You could have different grades, just like the regular salvage kits. So, if you wanted to get everything out of your Armor, you would use a Perfect Salvage Kit to get the Runes, Insignia, and Inscriptions out; then use a Perfect Dye Salvage Kit to get your dye color out while keeping the Armor piece.
