Feedback:User/Sirsmashface/Account hacked and item restoration

I have been a Guild wars player for 4 years now very active and very friendly. I recently took a break to try Aion and Rift and being displeased with both games I decided that I would play Guild wars until another game comes out that I would like to try. After trying to log into my account and a message popping up saying the information was incorrect always knowing my account info. I emailed guild wars support and was pleased with the speed which my ticket was processed they came back with a response that my account was accessed by gold sellers and was locked. After unlocking my account and being able to log in again all of my PvE characters were naked. Having spent 4 years playing the game and earning the equipment I did I was told by numerous GM's that my items are unable to be restored. I also asked if I could be compensated for losing my items also with the answer, no. The last GM told me to start this suggestion and see if the development team would take into consideration of developing a program to restore items lost when an account is hacked. Having no gear on any characters I am unable to do anything like earn money to replace it. With 4 years of guild wars experience they took my stuff but they can't take my skill, I am upset I lost all of the things I worked really hard for 4 years for, but I am more upset that they changed the UI of the screen, key bindings, left my top tier guild and deleted everyone off of my friends list. I am making this suggestion because its more than just items lost, its the time spent to get them. To me it feels the gold sellers took 4 years of my life away from me and i can not get it back. This is a suggestion to the guild wars development team to suggest you create a program to be able to restore items lost by getting your account hacked. I can guarantee that if you create the program that Aion and Rift has, that you will get a lot of older players from back-in-the-day to come back if they lost their account. I also know I am not the only one that wants/thinks about this idea.

I hope my suggestion doesn't fall on deaf ears because I know I am not alone.

Thank you, Sirsmashface
