Feedback talk:User/Sirsmashface/Account hacked and item restoration

A year ago I'd disagree with this, but I've seen people I know get hacked that would be the LAST people to buy gold, or use any kinda mod or third party program. I've become concerned that the hackers have found a new way into the communities accounts. I my self haven't ever used any third party program, I'm too paranoid to even use texmod. But I'm not sure any of that will protect me or anyone else.--Will Greyhawk 17:59, 10 June 2011 (UTC)

Item Restoration

A good start would be to develop a program that restores items and automatically customizes those items to that account. Customization should also be account wide. That way at least you get all your armor and weapons that you hold dear back. As for money and items that you plan on selling I am afraid that those may not be restored to protect the fragile GWs economy.--Dromar 09:45, 15 June 2011 (UTC)

When I think about hacking my biggest fear would be that somebody that would hack my account would delete my R6 character. I may say that I could get back my items and possessions by playing the game. But titles are hours of game. They are history of our characters. It is impossible to replace them. So if somebody deletes my character, I would be happy to be able to recover it. Nobody needs to delete characters of clear friend lists etc. Unfortunately some people do, just because they can.
