I think an Armour Smith should be installed into the Guild Hall. Basically, this guy would offer basic armour for you to purchase, but could also act much like the hat vendor -- takes the armour you are currently wearing, and 'stores' it for you. Then, you can ditch the armour, and come back and collect it again when you wish. This way you can collect armour and have it stored, and show it off from time to time, without having to fill up your entire chest with armour types. It would possibly convince people to go out and collect every type of armour in the game, just to have their personal armour vendor store it. You could then 'swap' the armour you wear, making your current suit 'vanish' and replacing it with a pristine suit you've already got stored (though I think it wouldn't keep the dye jobs).
