Beat the Reaper[edit]
An evocative quest title, from the comedy sketch by Firesign Theatre, on the album, Waiting for the Electrician or Someone Like Him. (For that matter, Waiting for the Elementalist or Someone Like Her would also be fun.)
BtR is a game show parody in which network doctors inject contestants with a disease; the player wins a round if they can successfully diagnose the name. Winning means they get the antidote/cure/vaccine administered. Losing...well, best not to. The deadliness of the injections increase as the game moves forward.
