Thunderclap used to be a skill I loved. A mighty (although pink) thunderbolt came down from the sky and struck your foes, as I recall. If you held them in place for 3 seconds they got dazed.

Now? It deals less damage, interrupts, weakens and applies cracked armor. Useless! One interrupt won't do a thing against a caster, cracked armor won't help much and weakness can be easily removed (as opposed to if you dazed a monk). And what's even worse, the magnificent animation is gone. Instead all you see is a yellow flash.

I suggest that you bring back the skill as it used to be, elementalists need some daze (and cool pink lightning). To make this look as serious as it actually is, let me compare the skills:

Old thunderclap:

You could use it togather with winter's embrace to disable a caster (which in turn could be countered by shadow stepping), you could daze a large amount of mobs in PvE (since mobs wouldn't move out of it) and it still had respectable damage.

New thunderclap:

You can't interrupt anything except 2 second or longer spells with it and cracked armor doesn't really do much. It has basically become a weaker version of blinding surge.

Other than this the elementalist update was good though :)
