Dear all,
Thanks for reading the following, I'd like your feedback on it.
ArenaNet kicked off by saying, we don't want everyone to look the same, people should be able to wear what they like, so they can change their armor, by keeping the stats they want and the looks they want, to morph them to each other. Which is a real great deal.
However I'm a little concerned about how this is going to work. For instance, I'm level 25, and I've just received a weapon drop, a sword whom I'm in love with, and I don't want to lose this weapon skin. But as I'm leveling on, I turn out to become level 30, and by this time I've found an upgrade. However I feel my other skin is still better. So I morph my weapons together and I continue leveling, quickly after that I find an even better weapon. So I morph those two again. My concern is that through-out my leveling I need to morph the weapons A LOT of times. So my idea's of fixing this are the following.
1) Don't get an NPC in a major town for morphing, let everyone, everywhere at every time be able to morph it's weapons, this would be less frustrating this way.
2) Get an auto-morph option. This may be the least wanted option, but I decided to throw it in anyway. When you obtain a better weapon, you could set a weapon as your main-weapon type and every upgrade will be changed into this weapon skin. This can of course be changed at any time.
3) A leveling like morph weapon. When I'm level 15 and I obtain this weapon it will have +25 of every stat. And it will do 100 damage. (This is of course not real). When I'm level 19, my weapon skin is still the same, but my stats have changed too. +28 of every stat, and 115 damage. Scaling up to the average weapon stats available to that level.
Please bear in mind that as far as I know not much information has been available about morphing armors/weapons at this point. So any of these 3 could not be implemented in the end. However I'd like to see this topic get attention and get the feedback required.

Edit:As part of the suggestion/discussion, I came to the conclusion that the Transmutation Stone should not be consumable. Since new stones are required through-out the levels. I rather see them being expensive but for unlimited use on all armor pieces, rather then having to buy 20 stones for every armor piece, and then replacing it every single time.
