- Suggestion
Add some type of auction system.
World of Warcraft was not the first, nor will be the last, to add some type of player-made shop system. So there is no shame in using this idea. Having an auction/shop system could be just as normal as having a freakin' skillbar.
This could be implemented in a various amount of ways. Creating a set auction location like WoW, or use your player and set up a "shop" in a town like Silk Road, or plop something down in an outpost and go about your way, Like Shin Megami. There are several ways to do this.
- Why this is a good idea
- Brings upon the disuse of third-party websites of item Buy/Sell/Trading.
- Makes selling items much less of a hassle (But doesn't this go without saying?)
- The economy already sways through supply and demand, so implementing this would not change much.
- Allows PvP players to sell their items from the Zaishen Chest and HoH while they play.
- Why this may not work out
- Encourages more AFKness. And we all just love those "you've been playing for four days, please take a break" messages.
- This would limit haggling, as prices would probably be dead-set.
