Feedback:User/Xadus/Guild Wars 2 PVP: The Stomp

During the PVP of Guild Wars 2, after getting an enemy down, he is desired to finish him off by "stomping" him which allows the attacker to jump into the air, defying gravity in an unrealistic like way and officially defeating the enemy. The stomp is very original and seems cool but it really does not fit the theme of guild wars, which is abstract, genuine, and creative. A lot of people have complained about the stomp and believe that it should be substituted with something more animated.

I'f the technology exists, players would accept a more animated close up of the attacker performing a graphic profession-based attack. Potentially 3 different ways per profession to officially defeat the enemy; ones so that it does not seem repetitive. If a teammate is down, an icon could appear on the screen/mini map/map showing that your teammate is down and if that player is about to be "stomped". Another factor is the stomp consistency. It would be a pain in the butt for every single player if they have to go out of their way to stomp every person they get down. Some skills should be so powerful that they can defeat an enemy without having to stomp them. It could be based on how many players are attacking that one person or if the defender is being hit by a series of master combos/ elite skills or how low/high the defenders health is. It can really stretch out, and i know PVP Arena Net is capable of doing more, a lot more.
