When I thought a craftsman profession was coming to the game, that got me thinking of the tools one could make:

Enchanted Weapons:[edit]

I'm thinking of GW:EN's hostile npcs type of Enchanted weapons. If they can exist in the game, why can't they be made as an item that can be activated from a backpack?

Say, if you forge a sword in GW2 with the essence of Vaettier Phantoms, it becomes a possessed weapon.

It can function exactly like a summoning stone, only you made it. It looks exactly the way you made to be, and it has the same passive traits that the weapon had without the essence (E.G: 20% armor penetration / 30 more health)

This item can be used as a support item for people not equipped against melee npcs, or to even the odds when facing too many opponents. You shou also be able to fully customise the weapon app. For example: u make a sword that glows at night. Or if u add an ebon swordbade the blade shoud become black like Dougal Kanes sword.

Www

Enchanting weapons:[edit]

Now I'm thinking of a new line of upgrade components - weapon spells that are always present in the chosen weapon.

E.G: A hammer with an Asuran Power Source, giving it the innate ability of inflicting lightning damage to adjacent foes upon impact.

Or, a vine from some wildlife magical Fly-trap can be used to forge a sword that always attacks 33% faster.

There's another suggestion about making "Unique Items" that only one person could have. His example was the Scepter of Ore. I agree with him, but why should A-net have all the fun coming up with them? Let people make their own "Unique Items" so that they can earn the title of Weapon Artisans.
