Overall, i find your idea of playing with crafting interesting. Personally i find the idea of denying items with special abilities a little restrictive from a pve point of view but i understand that building a rich crafting environment would draw too much human resources for something that is somehow opposed to the philosophy of gw. If they one day consider it, hooray, otherwise, let's get over it. Yseron - 83.196.155.73 18:39, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
- Isn't this effectively the guardian's spirit weapons, but utilizing the weaponsmith crafter profession? -- Konig/talk 10:42, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
- Yes it is. It's my idea of a "secondary profession". The more I thought of how crafting could improve the gaming of other players, the more I realized how powerful it could be. The trick is that this "secondary profession" depends on 2 things: (1) The skill of the crafter who crafts your toys. In other words, a guild of crafters could work together in strengthening their guild, a single character can sell his mastery for fortunes or make a reputation as "The guy with the scary knife". (2) The style of the player. The player doesn't have to be stuck with "what everybody else is using". I also have another idea to help emphasize this.Ys Mist 14:38, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
