The hero chatter is better. They need to move the aggro radius of heroes back out again. With this change I have to run my casters in to deep aggro and call targets to get all heroes to use skills. Enemies will just pound on idle heroes from staff/wand range.108.212.93.54 23:16, 1 March 2012 (UTC)

I can vouch for this. When I'm pulling, when the enemies are within casting range, and target called, they do absolutely NOTHING. The range should be as large as the hero who is most closest to them and in casting range. I say... change it back! 'nao!' — Sixshot 04:38, 2 March 2012 (UTC)
"Adjusted the chatter frequency of heroes and henchmen." THERE IS A GOD. 99.239.202.171 23:17, 1 March 2012 (UTC)
lol Much better. Too bad you can't toggle it off if you wanted. Sardaukar User Sardaukar sig.png 23:33, 1 March 2012 (UTC)
paint me wrong (lol anon comment) but what is chatter? the random text popups? 98.134.130.41 01:10, 2 March 2012 (UTC)
Yes, at certain intervals heroes would have their chat message pop-ups and in the previous patch they were placed too close together.--98.255.20.234 02:03, 2 March 2012 (UTC)
I popped out of wurms in the desolation, only to have 6 heroes with chat bubbles at the same time. ;)216.168.120.23 02:38, 2 March 2012 (UTC)

Bug fixes[edit]

Thanks from all of us who are still active after almost 7 years, keep up the good work! -- User Kirbman sig.png Kirbman 02:34, 2 March 2012 (UTC)

Except that this update added a game breaking bug that makes heroes useless. And they call it a feature, hahaha.

Aggro Range[edit]

Please, please, please, undo this one! It already was a pain if you're a ranger with a flat- or longbow. Now it's even worse and heroes won't attack unless you're almost next to the foes... And as foes will start attacking at the end of your aggro bubble, heroes will just look and wonder where those attacks come from and let you kill all foes... --Lady Rhonwyn 13:53, 2 March 2012 (UTC)

...

I concur - This change makes heroes difficult to use. I can stand there attacking a foe and the heroes just stand there unless I either call every single attack or change their behavior to aggressive. Please undo this. There was nothing wrong with the heroes before.

Iv'e been having a bit of trouble with it as well. A reduction to prevent overagrro and overextending is nice but it has been reduced too much, making it a bit bigger again would be nice. Da Mystic Reaper 16:48, 2 March 2012 (UTC)
Hard Mode is practically impossible with heroes now, you can have heroes do nothing at all or set them to aggressive and have them aggro everything. If you call targets they attack that target, then go back to standing in formation while enemies are still attacking them from range. There was no problem with aggro the way it was and this is a completely unneeded change. 86.177.65.169 16:51, 2 March 2012 (UTC)
We're going to be changing it back shortly. - Joe Kimmes Talk Page‎ 18:44, 2 March 2012 (UTC)
Perhaps you should just change it back just for heroes wielding a ranged weapon (I know the AI can differentiate from the two), leaving it in the present state for heroes wielding a melee weapon, as this change was a big plus for using melee heroes to tank effectively. This should be enough to make the more casual players who don't know how to manage their heroes properly happy, seems they mostly play with all-caster PvX wiki hero builds anyway, while retaining the advantage of the change to those experienced players who really like to micromanage their heroes in effective ways. 82.11.226.30 20:02, 2 March 2012 (UTC)
I agree.. please revert aggro range back. Even calling on target do nothing for heroes that are behind me unless they get attacked. This is worst in Hard Mode.. party wiped is more common now since the update as heroes behind player reacted only after being attacked or player have to move further in (acting as a tank?). 24.197.220.243 18:43, 2 March 2012 (UTC)

skill chains[edit]

do heroes actually use em quicker or slower now?

The update most likely made Assassin heroes use dagger skill chains faster. --Silver Edge 20:47, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
