+1 to this idea, I LOATHE the female norn voice. If the pitch isn't possible then at least an alternate voice actor, it particularly bothered me that as UK english I am stuck with American english wordings and pronunciations ("Minotaur" comes to mind, US being "Mi-no-tar" and UK being "My-no-tour"). Ok, first off...Phores, grow up. Secondly, do you have any idea how voice acting works? These are people that have to get PAYED. IT also takes a lot of TIME. A single line of diolog can take up to an hour to nail right. Arenanet isn't blizzard, they aren't swimming in cash. Back when GW1 was in develpoement, they were a brand new company....no, it wasn't so ridiculous that they only had two voice actors for the player characters. Your literally asking that they'd have spent two or three times the amount of money and time JUST for a diferent voice that pronounces minotuar differently. Having a voice for each race and gender is a perfectly fine compromise for Anet to make with their limits. Also, and I come from a background of audio production, changing a voice isn't that easy. Just adding a couple sets of sliders isn't going to do anything but make the voice sounds like crap. Add in the extra cost and development time for Anet...no.This is what the game has. If thats not good enough for you, the door is that way.--Will Greyhawk 04:24, 18 October 2012 (UTC)
