this is so true, I only just started playing guild wars last year and since then ive only played HA about 2 times and only because I was with guildies. I understand if people dont let me in because I'm crap but if people dont let me in because i'm not in their guild or i have a loww rank I think it's just stupid.--121.222.101.203 06:59, 7 November 2010 (UTC)

The way to solve this is to not have a rank for HA, so discrimination can only be done on titles such as PVE ones. As most players start on PVE, if they have a PVE title then PVP players can guage them and see they have a basic understanding of the game and not rank discriminate. At the same time if you dont have a PVE title, its something that isnt too hard to get, unlike getting your HA rank when no-one wants you.

People may argue/say PvE is nothing but Player Versus Easy. I like Alliance Battles/Saviour of the luxons/kurzicks because you can easily find a party in AB, and there is no prerequisite for JQ/FA. Perhaps if you have a good Zaishen or allegiance rank, that'll help you get into parties.--Eclipse143 02:30, 15 December 2010 (UTC)

The only problem with this is for people who will want to jump straight into PVP but hey, you can't please everyone. Jumblehunter 22:35, 4 December 2010 (UTC)

Titles, rank and all that should definately be a part of gw2, I very much disagree. The problem with gw1 was they had no matching system outside of GvG, so if you tried to form a group of players consisting of rookies, you'd simply get smashed by a r9 only group, even in the first HA room. However, if rookie groups were matched with rookie groups, everything would be great. Greep 14:27, 12 June 2011 (UTC)

I wouldn't mind PvP titles in GW2 as long as they're much more achievable. Maxing gladiator, which is probably the easiest title now, would still take at least 2000 hours of play without losing a match. To put that in perspective, that's an hour a day since the game was released 6 years ago. Absolutely ridiculous. --Atanna Charta 06:10, 24 June 2011 (UTC)

I've thought of that a lot, and I like it, but there isn't really a solution in your suggestion. That's why I'll be filling that up. As far as I know, there aren't 8 v 8 battle-HA-like PVP stuff. As far as we know there are 5 v 5 maps etc. but I can't note anywhere if you need to pre-make your group. As long as you have pre-made groups, you'll make a community on this. People will mark themself epic, and better than others. I can think of some options.
1) PVP Titles/Achievements (Whatever they are gonna do) combined for all PvP modes. 5v5, WvW, GvG everything. All together. So it doesn't matter what you play, you will progress in what you like to do best. Why should someone who likes 5v5 better then WvW, play it, just because it has a title. People should play what they like and not feel forced to do something.
2) Get rid of the pre-made high-end stuff. I'd like HA more if it were some random queue's, I dislike people flaming on each other, just because someone else didn't payed enough time in PvP as someone else did. Should be fun for everyone, not just the self-centered community group who feels that they come at first. Share me your thoughts please Tomoko 09:48, 17 August 2011 (UTC)
