Do you not see what a huge difference there is between three teammates chosen at random and three teammates you select? TA isn't "not needed" just because RA exists. -- Armond WarbladeUser Armond sig image.png{{Bacon}} 15:09, 13 September 2009 (UTC)

same difference. result fairness

The thing I don't like and learned some people in PvP didn't like about TA is because the people there are picky about who they invite. I've noticed. It's not fair to all in there and hence most times I've been there lately? Dead. DOA. rarely few teams, but already picked. RA you stand better chance of playing with a team. My proposal would allow more to play and Not be discouraged. ♥ Ariyen ♀ 19:07, 13 September 2009 (UTC)

Uh, yeah, you probably get kicked because you bring suck builds and/or don't know how to play. Welcome to Guild Wars, where if you suck, you won't get into good groups. It's the same across all forms of PvP, so why are you singling out TA? Because it doesn't have super overpowered gimmicks that anyone can get a group for and mash buttons and kill good players? -- Armond WarbladeUser Armond sig image.png{{Bacon}} 21:22, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
So, you wanna turn PvP into Costume Brawl C4K3 User C4K3 Signature.jpg Talk 06:34, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
a more complex costume brawl actually does sound fun tho, and would be easy to balance Talamare 06:43, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
Agreed. You wouldn't need to waste so much time nerfing skills, etc. -- ♥ Ariyen ♀ 06:52, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
It'd also be a lot more boring as we've already gotten a taste of what ANet can do when they're motivated and working hard (this was back in the proph days, not sure if any of you were playing then). -- Armond WarbladeUser Armond sig image.png{{Bacon}} 14:21, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
Not quite, not if Builds or Skills were changed every so often, things to spice up these games. As I've seen this mentioned in other feedbacks. ♥ Ariyen ♀ 20:23, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
That's great and all, but the last time ANet decided to spice up the game we got an assload of overpowered elites. -- Armond WarbladeUser Armond sig image.png{{Bacon}} 21:41, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
The Elites can be tweaked. Besides, aren't Elites suppose to be a bit more powerful than regular skills? After all, if not, what are they there for? -- ♥ Ariyen ♀ 01:02, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
There's "a bit more powerful" and then there's "wounding strike, mark of insecurity, searing flames, etc". -- Armond WarbladeUser Armond sig image.png{{Bacon}} 01:32, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
Well, Just as long as those are tweaked not to be 'too' powerful. Should then be okay. ♥ Ariyen ♀ 04:16, 28 September 2009 (UTC)

(Reset indent) I don't like this, I find it very fun to come up with new builds (even if they only see one round of gameplay), however if you create a suggestion for a single arena that had this I would support, like Random Random Arena, so you could also play regularly C4K3 User C4K3 Signature.jpg Talk 17:27, 4 October 2009 (UTC)

Costume Brawl should only be active during Halloween. Everybody running one build all the time would get stale and boring. --User Ezekial Riddle bigsig.pngRiddle 17:46, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
I think if the builds were changed every time that person plays, It'd be more interesting. Something in the ways that'd make PvP back into being more fun than 'over powered' or useless henchies/heroes, etc. ♥ Ariyen ♀ 21:51, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
yea no. half of the fun of pvp is making builds and testing them. also i think Armond bacon touched on this but the pre-made bars by anet were just horabad mainly because they got nerfed shortly after anet changed them and that happened more then once. also have you seen some of the bars they recently added to henchmen i cant imagination having to play thous bars when i know that there are better skills out there.- User Zesbeer sig.png Zesbeer 09:41, 28 October 2009 (UTC)

The suggestion seems similar to codex now... weird. -- User Ariyen sig icon.gifriyen 20:12, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
