Giving bonusses/boons/buffs/skills for these relationships would cause imbalance imo. Fair enough if you wanna get married a la fable 3, but it shouldnt give you anything more than, maybe a title along the lines of "Married to player x" which contributes nothing towards any sort of GWAMM title. --82.26.245.69 19:30, 3 March 2011 (UTC)

I think the idea of marriage is a great idea and one I was hoping they'd implement into the game. In my opinion though they should allow the relationship to be with NPC's and or real people. Fable 3 is a perfect example of how this could work, if it happens to be a relationship with an NPC, the spouse would stay at your personal player area (home) and As far as buffs go, I don't think they're should be direct Marriage buffs you can use like skills, but I think the spouse could give you things depending on what he or she specializes in. For example if you married a baker or something, when you returned home she could give you food that in turn gives gives you buffs like any kind of cooking skill foods would give you in other mmorpg's.

I think a marriage system with NPC's could also expand upon the user's experience with the game world, by creating emotes you could perform with your spouse, much like in Fable 3, or you could go on "dates" etc. I think this would be a really engaging addition to the game. Although I would feel like a third wheel the entire game :P, it is a very good idea. Darkshine 22:51, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
