Ghostly change makes it a weak version to sundering. If it comes down to putting one or the other in a skill bar sundering nets 10% 3 times on top of cracked armor while ghostly offers ~20%.

Balancing out guided weapon's current effect is a difficult task. I would recommend making it a 1 shot unblockable that removes a blocking skills currently active on the target. It would need a 15Recharge time or around there. I doubt ANet has a way to work in such a functionality however.~>Sins WDBUser The Sins We Die By Sig.png 16:45, 22 September 2009 (UTC)

It's quite interesting to have an effect that depends on the enemy being under the effect of a weapon spell, but it's still not worth taking over sundering weapon. I dunno, what else to comment on too tired, I'll do so later.~>Sins WDBUser The Sins We Die By Sig.png 04:07, 24 September 2009 (UTC)

I think I'm going to make a lot of my Communing suggestions function on foes being under the effects of Weapon spells. People are constantly chattering about how immune to everything Weapon Spells are and how worthless Communing is. That's why I want dulled weapon to be a weapon spell that targets foes. I'd like to see it still deny crits and deacrease damage by like 5.~>Sins WDBUser The Sins We Die By Sig.png 02:59, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
It's good that Weapon Spells can't be removed, I think. That doesn't mean that there shouldn't be skills that hinder or punish their use, though. Suggest that yourself, I'll agree with it. It'd be a fine idea to making weapon spells less of an issue to use, probably. In the end of your suggestions, every Weapon Spell conters Weapon Spells. xD

I like the mechanic of Ghostly Weapon, it's a way of hurting weapon spells (particularly WoW) without actually providing a direct counter. 188.74.101.228 15:58, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
