Ironically, the non-shouts would fit better on a Paragon or another midliner. --User Ezekial Riddle silverbluesig.pngRIDDLE 17:50, 17 March 2010 (UTC)

To be honest i have to admit... these changes look more like additional skills for a paragon. Lou Wolfskin 02:43, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
Your Protector's Defense would allow for incredible healballing; unremovable and uncounterable total damage redirection? Terrible idea. A single prot monk could keep the entire party alive indefinitely. User Felix Omni Signature.pngelix Omni 17:15, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
I improved Auspicious Parry's range and made it and Gladiator's Defense depend on Strength as well as require the user to wield a melee weapon to counter midline abuse. Now other professions than Warriors probably wouldn't use those skills, if they don't do so already. For Protector's Defense I extended the ending clause to also include hitting with a spear, which should stop Paragons from using it in another way than Warriors do; other professions have a disadvantage anyways because of their lower armor. I'd expect Healing Signet not to be used outside of split builds still, which is why I didn't change it. Disciplined Stance has the problem of being a defensive orientated stance and because of this inherently isn't the favorite skill of a primary Warrior, but I think the suggested version to be at least more attractive to Warriors than the current and still not overpowered or even strong enough to be used on every but very few Paragons. If I'm mistaken with that linking the adrenalin gain or parts of the defensive effect to Strength wouldn't be much of a problem. For the other skills I don't see abuse by a non-Warrior midline to be much of a problem, as the shouts have quite a good range and depend on Strength already and the Ripostes require the user to be adjacent to a foe. Concerning Protector's Defense that problem is what I thought of, when adding the casting time, but I reduced the upkeep time drastically nevertheless. Bernado 17:57, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
