You should play Final Fantasy XI, since all your feedback is basically "Make Guild Wars more like a generic fantasy MMO." User Felix Omni Signature.pngelix Omni 16:05, 2 February 2010 (UTC)

Glad you have some great suggestions that are not going to make GW2 generic fantasy MMO.Anet will surely profit from your "great" ideas.Correction-I should play FF XIV.Bonsai 18:36, 2 February 2010 (UTC)

Agreed with Felix, just wait for FF XIV since that is obviously what you want. Not one of your suggestions maintain core mechanics from Guild Wars.--Malchior Devenholm 06:24, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

Now I see that you all want just generic games, because none of mine suggestions were ever seen in other MMOs(except potions if you must) and cannot be called generic, none,if you want to play "non generic"(sarcasm)game go play OGW,GW2 is completely new game and get used to that,I am not saying that potions are great idea but there should be other options for those that want to use them, for example I am not for crafting and I am not selfish in that amount to say that crafting should not be in game. Core mechanics eeh?If I recall right they are making GW2 because they couldnt implement their ideas...and jumping and swimming and what not are not in OGW BUT and by your logic they shouldnt be in GW2... Saying that I should play FFXIV because I gave my opinion on potions is description of an immature child,or you could be more pollite and prove me wrong??

I'm glad others have already said what I immediately felt, because I agree with the above. This would change what makes Guild Wars what it is. Healing items do nothing but occupy space in inventory, consume resources and make game play less exciting. I play Guild Wars because it's not World of Warcraft. If you implement this, the next thing you know, people will want a way to craft them. Hello, alchemy. Xiaquin Crystal Snowflake.png 22:40, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

Generic or not[edit]

I'd rather take two skills, one that removes conditions, and one that heals, than 14+ different potions. We do have limited inventory space, you know. Not to mention that if I'm bleeding, I'd rather not have to try and remember which potion does what, because by that time, I'd probably have stopped bleeding (because I died). -- FreedomBoundUser Freedom Bound Sig.png 18:39, 2 February 2010 (UTC)

Potions would be easy to remember and would have description so I dont see big deal.Spells have cooldown and its faster to use a potion than heal with a spell.Though I dont see a problem with having greater variety of possibilities-spells,potions.....Bonsai 18:56, 2 February 2010 (UTC)

Because items ruin pvp? User Felix Omni Signature.pngelix Omni 08:47, 13 February 2010 (UTC)

Saying that MMOs are made strictly for PvP is just bland, why??Because why would they even try to make beautiful world and spend their resources instead of just making few arenas like DoTa and HoN did?? They could simply copy DoTa or some other game which is played by immature children with their squiky voices who would milk money from their parents...hmmm which example do we have?I wonder??*cough*wow*cough*-this is what Wow does, they released half product, made few arenas, copied everquest, made linear regions and worlds and are milking money from children which just love to fight*how ironical* few bucks into game development and billions of profit yep thats how you make money...

Yeah, you should definitely not be playing Guild Wars. In fact, I doubt you ever have. User Felix Omni Signature.pngelix Omni 09:08, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
What is really ironical is that GW was made as a PvP game primarily, PvE was just some kind of tutorial to learn players about key strategies. Koda User Koda Kumi UT.jpeg Kumi 10:20, 13 February 2010 (UTC)

NEW potion Please[edit]

I was thinking more on the line of a teleporting potion. It could teleport party members dead or alive to a flagged location that has been already traveled through during the current teams exploring or combats. If all members have traveld there fine but do not allow travel for runners who want to teleport people through hard spots ect...

If you are soloing with heros or true solo works same way.
Dead players still will be dead.
Potions has just one use and then consumed.
Have it bought at outpost, towns, or where ever.
Or trade collectables for one. Five uncommon items that are dropped for one potion.

You get the idea.
