Since we're talking PvE-centric suggestions, your second suggestion pours too many benefits into a maintainable spell that can easily be re-cast on such a short recharge if it is actually stripped.

Your first suggestion feels a rather disjointed in its purpose--like you just wanted to throw a bunch of nice buffs into a form so your character doesn't have to worry about too much while playing. Good skills--especially good elites--have a specific purpose to serve that is rather evident from the get-go; they're not something that might come in handy depending on what you run into. You slot that elite knowing what's ahead.

Your third suggestion seems to be the most focused of the three and the most reasonable in its "duration to recharge" relationship. Seems like a good panic button skill which is sometimes what Assassins need in PvE. I'd run with that one and maybe even reduce the recharge to 1/4 second. Mcscamper 06:11, 26 April 2012 (UTC)

You mean casting time on the third right? I have found that playing a melee character with 3/4 second spells is still more or less good and mobile. (see inferno) The first one was more like a joke with the dying nightmare, and I still work on it, but the cancellable form actually fits my idea of a shadow form. Thinking about the second, yeah I removed some of the benefits and improved on it a bit: note that I mean the second to act as an illusionary weaponry with some defense but unlike IW, it symergizes with your attack skills and other buffs (having 0 base damage like Distracting Strike). Finally for the third, I love it quite much. I might end up reworking #1 to be like the third. --Boro User Borotvaltgandalf Sig.jpg 16:29, 26 April 2012 (UTC)
I think they wont change the sin anymore especially SCs and the broken Shadowform mechanic but for PvP I wish for a better solution of this skill. --Kali Shin Shivara 00:40, 6 May 2012 (UTC)
