Good suggestion. I suggested something similar in a post I made a few months ago. I called it "The Encampment". It was just one part of a larger suggestion related to world building in GW2. You can read about it here if you're so inclined. But don't remove your suggestion. It is concise whereas mine is buried in a monster of a post. Also, the more often a similar suggestion is made by different people, the greater the chance the devs will take it into consideration. Guild Wars 3 perhaps 18:34, 15 May 2011 (UTC)
- I love your idea! I like how you thought of every detail! I'd really love to see it in Guild Wars 2.
- My suggestion is really more of a quick-afk solution though. Example:Build a quick campfire, go afk, come back, resume playing.
- With my schedule I usually go AFK about 10 times during an hour. So I'd be very happy if there was a quick way to safely go afk without having to restart my quest/instance/adventure. -CityGhost 00:21, 16 May 2011 (UTC)CityGhost
- I think this is a cool idea (I doubt that it would be implemented, because I think companies want to encourage people to be active rather than make it easy for them to tie up bandwidth while being elsewhere). — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 00:34, 16 May 2011 (UTC)
- They're not tying up bandwidth; while they're "camped", they're a static component. — Raine Valen 0:53, 16 May 2011 (UTC)
