I would very much disagree with this for certain skills. It is very fun and effective to keep stuff on their butts with URF SHAKUR while inflicting large domages with Crude Swing. :3 --Nectarines 21:47, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
- Fun? Yes. effective? There's better, just trying to level the playing field a bit here. --Ckal Ktak 22:10, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
- Some people would say that Earth Shaker is one of the most effective builds for Warriors in PvE. Even if you kill stuff in 3 seconds, stopping them from being able to return the favour over those 3 seconds is often worthwhile. Depends on what the rest of the team is doing, really. Belly Smash needs a buff, the others... not so much. Draxynnic 05:47, 22 September 2009 (UTC)
- Ditto. Knockdown may not be that important in normal mode, but shutting down the monsters in hard mode is often very useful, if not essential. -- Hong 09:49, 22 September 2009 (UTC)
- Brawling Headbutt says hi. It basically allows you to go sword or axe and still knock down enemies all the damn time.--Ckal Ktak 09:52, 22 September 2009 (UTC)
- Brawling Headbutt? Psshh, "You Move Like a Dwarf!" to do the same thing at range. And besides, there's nothing stopping you bringing a PvE skill and a hammer KD skill at the same time. Often you do want to keep more than one thing down, or keep it down for an extended length of time. -- Hong 09:55, 22 September 2009 (UTC)
Often it's just me and me warrior buddy sabwaying the crap out of Hm, he knockdown loops the monk (a combination of FGJ, Flail, an axe and brawling headbutt) and the heroes and I demolish everything else. He can do his own nasty amount of damage too using a better weapon for Pve and a shield to cause him not to die.--Ckal Ktak 20:15, 22 September 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, the best build for knockdown-looping a single target is FGJ, Brawling Headbutt and Dragon Slash. If the enemy clusters, though, a combination of FGJ, Earthshaker, Whirlwind Attack and Crude Blow can allow you to knocklock all of them if there are 4 or more. - And the thing is, I like that ability for warriors, it's awesome when it works. But I'll be damned if I will ever see a pug warrior (Of any competence) in PvE ever use a hammer. It seems such a waste. Perhaps we can all agree that hammers need a few "look at me" changes to get people to even try. --Ckal Ktak 20:22, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
- Rethink staggering blow. Low adrenaline, mediocre return skills are rarely used. NuVII 11:04, 23 October 2009 (UTC)

- Hammer mastery does need some no-nonsense way of inflicting weakness, because so many skills demand it to hit their potential. Maybe 6 and also inflicting cracked armour? I've added it in, but due to body blow, I think it'll have to stay as PvE only.--Ckal Ktak 11:35, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
- AS I have said earlier, make it deal energy damage like Debilitating Shot. NuVII 12:12, 23 October 2009 (UTC)

- Not really a PvE change though, which is what this is all about. --Ckal Ktak 12:22, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
- Oh crap. My, my brain is too much wired to think that way, I guess. I have always been against PvE/PvP split, but I do suppose that adding CA would be okay from a pvp perspective. NuVII 14:45, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
- Even with a bodyblow followup? Sounds a bit dangerous to me, but then it is a precious skillslot to take. Would have to actually implement it to see if this would be okay. --Ckal Ktak 15:07, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
