  • Blind Was Mingson - interesting thing but i think its kinda OP for 8player matches and against tripmelee, also with actual flux
  • Defiant Was Xinrae - maybe new farm skill if reworked in this way, i dont like this suggestion much
  • Generous Was Tsungrai - Sounds okay
  • Ghostmirror Light - new runner skill? I don't like this suggestion much, coz it's too easy groupheal and don't require that much skill in PvP
  • Lively Was Naomei - interesting
  • Mending Grip - shouldn't be superior than "Weapon of Remedy"
  • Preservation - completely OP for GvG flaggy's
  • Tranquil Was Tanasen - Heal is too much, but sounds okay when lowered to 150-200
  • Vengeful Was Khanhei - won't hurt anybody just in case of farming with war there is a little buff.

  • Blind Was Mingson: it's not like every caster is going to run around with this skill and there is a reason i reduced the duration of blind, Rune of Clarity and a shield with "I Can See clearly Now" reduce it's duration and you still have condition removal. I expect tripmelee should be well prepared to counter blind. And the flux is already nearing it's end and even so is only for a month, adept to it i say instead of adepting the skills to it.
  • Defiant Was Xinrae: 55 doesn't have the privilage of wasting it's elite slot for for this skill. It's almost always used for damage skills such as Shield of Judgment, Spoil Victor and other offensive elites with similar purposes, if not it's used for Spellbreaker or other elites to defend themselves. 600 relies on having as much health as possible a skill that reduces maximum health is useless for it. Don't worry all that much about it there is little threat that this will become a farming elite, farmers would not and cannot waste their elite slot for such a skill.
  • Ghostmirror Light: is a conditional adjacent range seriously such a big deal in GvG? I designed it for PvE since i don't give a crap about PvP, GvG is an exclusive club anyways.
  • Mending Grip: i forgot about Weapon of Remedy, it also needs a buff. Ty for the reminder.
  • Preservation: again the exclusive club reason. What change would you suggest then.

Well i gues i need to add Weapon of Remedy and that Tranquil Was Tanasen and Preservation (PvP) need a change. For Preservation (PvP) i'll hear it from you what for change it needs (maybe a range reduction). Da Mystic Reaper 16:52, 26 December 2011 (UTC)

* Ghostmirror - No its not that big but useful when used in specific situations especially surrounding the rez shrine. Especially useful for Ele-Spike builds and dual-fl-spikes. I don't like to see guys buffed that got a crap positioning and play unskilled builds, thats all.
* Preservation - Reg + groupheal + additional healing is extreme powerful against some builds especially vs hex ways and condition/tripmelee it helps a lot. Also it buffs extremly the groupheal ability, in this case -> pressure builds are kinda useless just spike dominant. It combinates life with renuvation AND to sum it up it also adds recuperation -> 10+25+10 = 45 Energy thats more then whole energy bar in pvp for 15 energy and also you don't have to waste 3 slots for a single spirit and you're able to deal great vs much larger teams -> in this case its a brutal split opion for your own group that always means a very bad positioning for your enemy on map, also this def over means matches take much longer and spikes are less effective. Also you got the ability to put in the other spirits in the same way -> +life (group heal over...) -> Renuvation = 4+3 reg = 7 -> 14 life per sec thats brutal... it would bring rangers to the meta, mesmers drain again instead of snare/illusion splits and it also means it's an overused skill for 8 player PvP --Kali Shin Shivara 05:13, 2 January 2012 (UTC)

Did you intend for DwX to mimic the original AotL's function? ^_^ --Falconeye 01:01, 28 December 2011 (UTC)

5 Energy1 Activation time15 Recharge time Elite Item spell (5...25...30 seconds). You cannot lose more than 20% maximum health when taking damage from a single hit. Drop effect: steal 5...41...50 health from all nearby foes. Reduces your maximum health by 50%.

10 Energy2 Activation time20 Recharge time Elite Enchantment Spell. (15...39...45 seconds.) Reduces damage you take by half. End effect: heals you for 50...202...240. Reduces your maximum Health by half.

  • Notes: This skill effectively quarters life sacrifice, halving your total health and then halving the health loss due to sacrifice, even though it is not considered damage.
    • Damage reduced is based on damage dealt, after all calculations. Armor ignoring damage will also be halved.
      • Life stealing will not be reduced as it does not count as damage.
      • It is important to keep in mind that health degeneration will have twice the effect, as you have half the health you would have otherwise.
    • This skill, when used while properly tanking not only reduces the damage received by 50%, but the reduced hit points also makes the caster a more likely target.

Well i had no initial intention of making it like the old Aura of the Lich but i admit it did gave me the idea of the maximum health reduction, even though only to make the 20% max health damage reduction work and to prevent abuse from 600 monks. You have to admit it the old AotL was a pretty good skill but on the wrong profession you can say, being an enchantments and unable to cancel it out for the heal didn't really help either. As an item spell that cannot be removed and can be ended when you want it to should make it more usable. Another problem with the old AotL was that the damage you took was reduced by 50% but your health as well wich still meant that by % you still took the same ammount of damage, the only real benefit was the bugged health sacrifice reduction making it a good elite for a MM and that the user was easier to heal. Well DWX now does have a similar effect but does not reduce health sacrifice but has an offensive ability, it should make it a good self-support elite in my point of view. No idea if it will compete to it's weapon version and Weapon of Remedy. Da Mystic Reaper 13:43, 28 December 2011 (UTC)
