Notes[edit]

  • More effective in hard mode, where foes have higher health and attack rate and will thus trigger it more often.
  • This skill is highly potent against bosses, especially end-game bosses who have many times the health of a player character, assuming the boss attacks or casts targeted spells.
  • Spoil Victor or alternatively Spiteful Spirit can be used for solo farming.
    • Spoil Victor is especially effective for characters with low health, typically 55hp, as the character will almost always have low health and meet the requirement.
  • This skill will trigger when a healer casts a healing spell on an ally with less health; however, self-targeting a healing spell will not cause health loss. Resurrecting an ally with a spell will also trigger Spoil Victor.

Trivia[edit]

  • This skill's name seems to be a pun on the saying "to the victor go the spoils", which is derived from the "to the victor belong the spoils", a quote from 19th century US Senator William L. Marcy.
  • This skill has changed since its introduction; see its PvE and PvP skill histories for details.
