I don't see this working. Why? because players already have enough with Title maxing to get started with these ´´achievements``. Definitely no, I say.--190.25.8.176 23:52, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

I like the concept. However, I think it needs refinement. I think this is akin to adding emotes that work the same as /deaths, but cover different categories. Other games have, /kills, so GW could have that plus /kills(Am Fah) etc. These achievements wouldn't be displayed, but could be shared with friends guildies the way we share info about how long we've been playing. (i.e. we run our emote and then send the details via chat)
This sounds like something very different from in-game titles. I think the idea has great merit on its own; it loses something when compared to titles. (However, perhaps I misunderstood.)   — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 03:11, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
Same problem as introducing Survivor after players have died thousands of times. Simply too late, all counters would start from zero in a 5yr old game... Interesting for GW2. Definitely shouldn't have anything to do with titles, or be displayable, except maybe one: instead of a title, display your death count, no title track, no ranks or anything, just "Died xxx times" - could be fun. :P Though, I'm averse to the idea of having hundreds of counters for each species/creature/etc, extremely annoying to perfectionists, like myself.
