I honestly think you should only incorporate god weapons to the professions that have an affinity for that god. Such as Melandru for Rangers, Earth Ele's, and Earth Dervishes (Melandru's Bow, Melandru's Domain, Melandru's Santuary respectively) and Lyssa's Deception (mesmer), Lyssa's Vigor(energy storage), and Lyssa's Deceit(assassin). I can go allday with this. Dwayna's Haste (wind prayer's scythe), Dwayna's Breath (Air ele), Dwayna's Recovery (healing prayers), and Dwayna's Impulse (motivation). Grenth's Harbinger (assassin), Grenth's Embrace (water ele or necro), yeah i'm getting lazy. --Eclipse143 06:00, 17 December 2011 (UTC)
- I ran into overlap issues with my other God Weapon Feedback while trying to solve the issue of too little weapon-mod diversity/too many useless mods on the wrong weapon-types. There are so many variables as to how a player wants to use thier weapons, and many real-players and lore-based NPC's have diverse patronage, beyond just dervishes paying lip-service to all 6 gods. My objective is to streamline all 11 weapon-types, give them truly unique mods (that are *actually* useful), and give them names/skins/effets that personifies each god.
- That said I *DO/WILL* need help creating awesome names (preferably more crative then God's ----) and utilizing all those unused green/red-skins. I will return my full attention to this after Wintersday/Holiday Season. ^_^ --Falconeye 06:19, 17 December 2011 (UTC)
- Instead of making pre-modded greens why not make them inscipable greens like Keiran's Bow. Also i agree with Eclipse, each profession should only have weapons based on the gods it favors.
To make it a bit easier for you.
- Warrior: Balthazar
- Ranger: Melandru
- Monk: Dwayna, Balthazar (smiting prayers)
- Necromancer: Grenth
- Mesmer: Lyssa
- Elementalist: Dwayna (air magic), Melandru (earth magic), Balthazar (fire magic), Grenth (water magic), Lyssa (energy storage)
- Assassin: Lyssa
- Ritualist: Grenth
- Paragon: Balthazar (Spear Mastery), Dwayna (motivation), Kormir (Command)
- Dervish: all 6 of them
However it also brings us to the next problem being Kormir who doesn't really have a profession or attribute tied to her yet. Other than the paragon you would need to improvise some of it. For the paragon i went for command and well the dervish only has scythes so that would not be to hard, the other professions however don't really have anything suitable.
