Discussion[edit]
sorry but I can't recall fighting an asura. --The Holy Dragons 20:29, 7 September 2011 (UTC)
- The problem with these is that they are too specific. You'd only be able to have your weapon modded to a very specific type of creature. However, things like Margonites and the torment creatures both fall under "Demon" and in the current game, makes the mod more useful. It can work against other creatures of the "Demon" type.--Will Greyhawk 23:03, 19 September 2011 (UTC)
- Slaying mods are currently counter-intuitive; Of course there too specific, this ariticle aims to break down ALL creature types into 14-generic categories (or less); This page is displaying BOTH extremes for your concience and so ANet can decide for themselves. --Falconeye 21:39, 2 October 2011 (UTC)
- Who needs a useless, underutilised and complex system like this in a dead game like GW1? Slaying Items wasn't used by anybody in the whole game, beside some few farming exceptions (also some exploits) like plant slaying in Urgoz, undead in FoW, demon in DoA but like all other stuff -> nobody waste weaponslots and inventory space for stuff like this. "Vampiric", "Sundering", "Furious" and all elemental damages is quite enough for always used "Fortitude" and sometimes UP to have an universal and useful weapon. Never saw someone using "Giant-", "Ogre-" or "Trollslaying" UP, its much too complex and these monsters are very limited ingame. As an add for special green weapons maybe, that pushes cheap and underused green-weapons again and maybe make the more useful with some extra mods beside other 3 possible weapon mods, else: just one mod is enough: "of Enemyslaying" but just for PvE... PvP -> OP on sins, R-Spikes, Spirit's Strength Rits, also onslaught derv and evis-shock wars. Shieldset switch is hard enough in my opinion --Kali Shin Shivara 04:51, 23 November 2011 (UTC)
- So... I'm attacking this the wrong way? Should merge this with Feedback:User/Falconeye/Weaponsmith - Prefix/Suffix & Inscription and Feedback:User/Falconeye/Avatar Unique Scythe Update? --Falconeye 00:34, 26 November 2011 (UTC)
