Graven Monoliths are constructs that lurk in places desecrated by margonites. They are the only monoliths encountered anywhere, excluding the single appearance of the Apocrypha.

- In their tablet form, they appear to be immobile and will activate Reform Carvings immediately after being aggroed; this causes them to revert to the tablet form before assuming a new form.
- Their most common form is as a Mesmer; they also use this whenever they are alone when attacked.
- Their Mesmer form resembles a naga.
- They turn into Dervishes when they are low on health.
- Their Dervish form resembles drakes.
- They sometimes turn into Paragons when they are within earshot of their allies.
- Their Paragon form resembles krakens.
- Their most common form is as a Mesmer; they also use this whenever they are alone when attacked.

Trivia[edit]
- Their dying animation will be one of the forms they had before first using Reform Carvings.
- On occasion you may see a graven monolith wielding an Aureate Aegis.
- The Graven Monolith is one of very few types of NPCs that can use skills from three different professions.
