I agree whole heartedly. This is a function that is usually standard in all games like this anyways. So, no-brainer, it should be added.

I personnally don't feel as though "follow" should break with damage, but thats a small issue.

I disagree and refer to your bot posts...[edit]

Follow ally is basically a requirement to multi-box, if it's not there, there is no multi-boxing. This was probably already an issue and why it is not in the beta, and hopefully will not be in the final release. I do think that there should be a way to ping an ally. Double Click (or maybe Shift+Click) on the party portrait of said ally, and a ping shows like un-unlocked waypoints against the edge of the compass/mini-map. And/or a Highlight command on the context menu, to show their dot on the main map flashing/pulsing red or something like that. --Skekzyz 03:48, 12 August 2012 (UTC)

Good point regarding the multi-boxing. The suggestion of creating an ally ping and/or highlight on the main map is a reasonable compromise which would still permit players to more easily locate one another. Guild Wars 3 perhaps 06:47, 12 August 2012 (UTC)
