Feedback talk:User/Ineluki/Armor and Role Playing

I don't have a problem with it because it is a high fantasy game which means large swaths of skin can be explained away by magic and whatnot. Guild Wars is better about it than most games though, they manage to make it look good without being completely trashy. Elite Luxon Elementalist armor anyone? - phlemhacker

As someone that attends school with prospective game designers, I know that they don't want to hear anything about how they should make males and females have the same amount of skin showing. Even the girl designers that I've spoken to have this mentality....I don't really know why. Also, there's a few things you need to take into account. In Gw2, there are going to be 5 races (a big "duh" of course) and two of those races don't look remotely human. The devs have to make armor for male and female characters of five different races. That alone is a lot of work. ....I had another point, but I've forgotten it....oh well.--Will Greyhawk 14:31, 19 October 2010 (UTC)

I'm not even sure what you are suggesting. Everything you have said is being/been done. If you don't like a piece of armor because it doesn't suit the role you're playing or the lore of the game you can just "splice" it with a piece you actually like. Or if you want a different look of a piece customise it.

Finally where do you get off giving those "Suggestion solutions". The first two are unintelligent since the developers are professionals at what they do and know how to do it already.

Crossdressing can become a bit ridiculous, unless you're suggesting the armor fit the gender model. Watching burly norn males running around in stilettos and bikini tops is already scarring my imagination. Teddy Dan, yo. 08:29, 30 November 2010 (UTC)
