I sort of kind of agree with the suggestion, or can at least see the usefulness of having RP type gear offering some bonus, maybe to a non-PVE/PVP area, like a Blacksmith's apron that gives a bonus on Smithing or something (You get the point). But that's not saying all RP gear should bestow a bonus, although I'm not opposed to that. 74.79.132.108 04:03, 24 April 2010 (UTC)

I agree. RP items would cater to the whims of people that would want to play out such a thing. It would add depth to the game beyond that of what Arenanet can make, and it will let players themselves make their own stories. I can think of some interesting things that can be done with RP items.--Neithan DiniemUser Talk:Neithan Diniem 15:05, 27 May 2010 (UTC)
In "Runes of Magic," characters are allowed to get married, and gain bonus' when they travel together. While it is one form of role-playing, I, too, would like to see more role-playing gear added to allow those of us who just don't feel like participating in endless slugfests. --Warzog Watch your six! 02:53, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
