it doesn't make any sense to kill oneself to win

I dunno man, Necromancers are pretty fucked. — Skakid 20:18, 4 November 2011 (UTC)

Balthazar doesn't like cowards. The battle isles are under Balthazar's ruling, not Grenth's, so the point is to kill the enemies, and win without ever quitting, not to kill oneself. MithUser MithranArkanere Star.pngTalk 01:18, 5 November 2011 (UTC)
So pretty much, using the flux creatively should be banned? Aqua (T|C) 02:24, 5 November 2011 (UTC)
Nope. The Flux is there to change game and use it, but suicide tactics are a different story. This is not about the Flux, but about suicide tactics. The October 2011 Flux just made the flaw that allows suicide tactics more evident. In some modes your deaths give no points to the enemy, and you can resurrect right away, allowing you to exploit that using suicide tactics, turning downsides into upsides. Downsides should stay downsides, and 'death' should always be a downside. MithUser MithranArkanere Star.pngTalk 21:29, 5 November 2011 (UTC)
From Necromancer: Necromancers , calling on the spirits of the dead, and even death itself, to overpower enemies. I don't see the reasoning behind why suicide can't be used as a tactic. 108.52.81.139 23:09, 5 November 2011 (UTC)
Because it is NOT their own deaths. Those skills that trigger upon death consider death a downside. You ahve to die for them to trigger, and death is something you usually avoid, because you'll get Death Penalty and will take time to resurrect. Remove the downside, and the problem arises.
