It can do done. It's called "TexMod". Titani Ertan 04:44, 11 September 2009 (UTC)
- No, tex mod doesn't really allow changing text. It changes the textures (which might have text on them). I tried this and it looks incredibly ugly, most of the time fails to achieve the goal and is not very nice to change again. Ɲoɕʈɋɽɕɧ 03:22, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
- Even better. If for example you write your giant walls of code in order to get your char a giant hamster pet, but you miss an "a" somewhere, your hamster will most likely eat you and jump out of the screen to cause havoc. Now, imagine you wrote walls of text before that, an now your .dat2 is ruined, your 50 hours of non-life work is gone. TexMod can't do that. Worst case scenario, you uninstall. - Try to combine out-source and string-based. It wouldn't be easy to use it it had to be compiled first. Worst case: re-add the a. Ɲoɕʈɋɽɕɧ 05:22, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
- I'm not good at all that, so out-source and string-based doesn't say much to me. And about the a: In the walls of code, that's partial GW.dat and part your .dat, how can you find a missing a? It's like looking for the exact location of a missing sand grain in the desert. Titani Ertan 11:27, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
