Eh... I think they are fine as is. More than fine, I find them to be great. And the concept art, are we sure it is supposed to be Norn? It could easily be Tengu. Which if it is, the Tengu will look alot better than they did in GW1. Wazwolf 00:15, 4 September 2011 (UTC)
You would honestly be content with every wolf being a clone of every other wolf? or a snow leopard with the exact same spots as every other one?
you would be happy with having no distinguishing attributes on your forms which are supposed to be your character imbued with the power of an animal spirit.
There are huge differences between individual animals of the same specie (with the exception of raven, they all look the same to me) so why shouldn't there be differences in the forms the norn take just as there are differences in the norn themselves?
I was under the impression when the norn transform, they take on the power of the spirit of the wild, and not the spirit itself. If they were to take on the form of the spirit itself, then they should look exactly like that spirit, and would not be a mixture of norn-animal but would be the actual animal and have no differences between them. but since they only take the power of the spirit, they are a mixture of themselves and the spirit, and should thus have differences in the animal forms.
There should be a male and female animal forms because there is sexual dimorphism in the male and female norn.

- Still, there shouldn't be too much sexual dismorphism. Like, don't give the woman-wolves and such boobs. They're still taking on an animal form, and the fact that they are standing on two legs instead of an animal four makes it clear that they're still themselves. No one wants a bikini-clad grizzly bear. So what I said before, they could make slight facial differences between genders but thats it. As for having different fur patterns and what-not on each norn's were-form, that would be cool. Hard to implement though, because with millions of players, you can't have a totally different pattern for everyone. Weindrasi 17:47, 15 September 2011 (UTC)Weindrasi
