So, you are rewarding higher players more money or less effort? As you said, it will take less time for them to do these quests because of their advantages. Spending less time for the same amount of reward is incentive enough to go into lower level areas. It just doesn't make sense to give someone more money for the same work as someone else, just because they are a higher level.

Besides, the arguement of "higher prices for the better mercenary" is just going to support elitism and corruption. The job is still getting done, just quicker and more efficiently. Derikvyreflame 00:09, 31 October 2011 (UTC)

You are mistaken i suggest rewards for high level players doing low level content with scale of: almost EQUAL REWARDS PER TIME SPEND no matter what level the content is(ofcourse high level rewards > low level rewards to keep the game runing normaly). I.e. it might be easyer to complete low level content, but it takes to complete more content to get the same reward as high level. Look the quest example i made - quests take 5 min = 10g(80 level quests), 4 min = 8g(any lower level quests) - for 20 minutes you get exactly 40gold for 4x high level quests or 5x low level quests. Ofcourse items and XP wont be affected with this change, so high level quests give you sometimes items you might use/sell, low level quests' items will be uselss for you - still high level > low level. I have no idea how other to explain than: make low level content not useless (rewardless).
As for the"A more skilled mercenary is payed more for his service." i would agree with you if it wasnt in the context of the game. In this case i dont see anything wrong with elitism since the game itself is already based on that idea(GW2 yearly tournaments) and since players cant commit rule/law breaking ingame(becouse they get the job, not give it) for what corruption are we eaven speaking?
