Shroud of Silence - The fact Anet uses this kind of skill updates does not mean is it a good way to balance skills.
Seeping wound - Bleeding and Poison are very easy to apply for an assassin. With this skill, you can go Black Spider - HotO - Falling Lotus - Blades of Steel, which is far too easy.
Locust's Fury - Just let the weapon do piercing damage so you also avoid issues with Strength of Honor, should Anet decide to put it back into the game again.
Mantis Touch - This is what Palm Strike should be.
Shadow Fang - Again, an easy DW, which is bad. The only thing this skill needs is a recharge reduction. Koda User Koda Kumi UT.jpeg Kumi 16:42, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
My thoughts:
  • Mirrored Stance: Nice idea, but imo it would be simpler (and nicer) just to put "Target foe loses current stance. For XX seconds, this stance is disabled and Mirrored Stance is replaced with it". Like Inspired Enchantment, but for stances. Optionally, just make it so that you enter that stance instantly, but I think that though this fits the name better, it would be less useful.
  • Shroud of Silence: Nice mechanic change, but as Koda said.
  • Seeping Wound: Definately needs a buff, but that looks too powerful.
  • Locust's Fury: A tab boring, but should work. As above, though, maybe change it to "your physical attacks deal +XX damage".
  • Shadow Fang: As above, just cut recharge to 30s.
Nice ideas, anyway, though I think there are a few more skills which could also use a buff. 188.74.101.228 15:28, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
  • Locust's fury, you can also say "you have XXX with your physical dagger attacks. blah-blah-blah" easier to understand like that.
  • Seeping wound: remove the snare and possibly the +crit%, and should be alright.
  • Mantis touch; Honestly, am i the only one that likes this skill as is, range snare for a sin is beautiful imho. at most the skill need it's recharge reduce
that all i have :P, nice tho--BobbyT 03:40, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
Locusts's Fury: no, it needs restrictions so it will not work in conjunction with conjure X and other damage buffs.
Mantis Touch: it is currently a snare you can only use in the middle of your attack chain, so you take away the surprise element. You also make your attack chain slow as dirt. Koda User Koda Kumi UT.jpeg Kumi 18:57, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
  • Locust's Fury: that what i mean, only works for physical damage so it wouldn't work with conjure, i only that in a more concise format.
  • Mantis touch: i don't mean this should be use as in a main combo that use for spiking purpose, but imo A sin can be use for more then just spiking, this skill is more for a utility purpose outside of the main combo, but still has the potential to work with the combo incase of something that doesn't go right, this with a fast recharging lead mean you got an easy cripple outside a combo. thats my thought for this. --BobbyT 23:20, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
  • Shadow of Haste, this is actually very interesting, coming from a team that used this skill exceptionally well when it was 'broken' this will resurrect the same problems, however it would limit the distance. It drastically changes current game play, allowing players to effectively exist in two places at once (granted it's only within 100' bubble rather than radar). Dreg 15:28, 11 November 2009 (UTC)
