Lol, so op. 71.146.69.44 01:17, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
- go go glimmer spam Talamare 02:05, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
- Glimmer doesn't have downsides (other than being elite), it's not a bad skill. It is just outshined by WoH, HB, and every rit heal. IMO other heals should come down in power when the overall damage in the game comes down. ~Shard 02:25, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
- Actually Glimmer as it is at the moment, is not as bad as people make it out to be, I will often use Glimmer as my monk Elite, just for the simple sheer simplicity of being able to spam it with Selfless Spirit. Whilst a lot of people will say it's worse than WoH, in a lot of circumstances it's actually better than WoH. Whilst the change you describe is interesting. The energy gain from this skill will mean this is basically a HIGHLY SPAMMABLE 100+ heal every second (with no recharge, the only limit is casting time), that combined with Selfless Spirit (and a high enough rank in DF), is free of all energy costs, and just screams OP'd.. or how about U arcane mimic your fellow monks UA, and then cast 125+ heals for the same 0 energy cost. For this reason, I don't see this happening. Anon-e-mouse 00:33, 17 September 2009 (UTC)
- lol @ selfless spirit, dont talk about balance when mentioning horribly over powered pve skills Talamare 01:04, 17 September 2009 (UTC)
- It's almost the same thing for Divine Spirit and/or channeling. If you can get enough energy return on Glimmer from similar skills, you can red bar like crazy. I ran glimmer in HA once for fun with channeling AND divine spirit. It was very godly for those 12 seconds. ~Shard 01:34, 17 September 2009 (UTC)
- Ive ran HB in HA with channeling before too, its about the same thing, you can cast w/e you want really fast none stop... this change is like flare... Talamare 02:00, 17 September 2009 (UTC)
- First off, I think this would be a step down in what it is already. Secondly, back up to Shard, I prefer Glimmer over Word of Healing as I heal my party when health drops to 75%. Doing such, the conditional heal of WoH doesn't activate often making Glimmer the better skill. Magic Talk 06:14, 17 September 2009 (UTC)

(Reset indent) Pika Fan: I read that twice and that still doesn't make any sense on how WoH is a "superior elite". If you're using Patient Spirit for most of your healing and then protting your party so they don't lose life.. how does that make WoH a superior elite? B/c.. from what I got from this.. you're not even using it. XD (On a side note: You should remember, not everyone has all the campaigns. There are new people still buying and loading the game up daily. So balancing should be keyed in more to them then people that own all campaigns. :S) Magic Talk 17:30, 17 September 2009 (UTC)
- balance is made so that they make skills from other game look AWESOME, which makes you want to buy the other skills, and woh is for when the shit hits the fan, and you need a full heal (which happens a lot) Talamare 18:00, 17 September 2009 (UTC)
No, please no. D: Bathory talk 05:57, 20 September 2009 (UTC)
