WOW!!! Sounds like a great idea. The answer to my mini pet problem! They are scattered all through my vault and on my various chars.74.173.107.209 23:58, 24 December 2009 (UTC)

Sounds pretty good. -- My Talk Lacky 01:55, 26 December 2009 (UTC)
Do not tell me that you have 9 storage tabs but still need more :P Koda User Koda Kumi UT.jpeg Kumi 20:50, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
I've wanted mini storage forever now, but not like this. I hate all the nesting tabs, because it would be a nightmare to remember what you have and where to find it, especially being duplicated for ded/unded. Also, minis don't stack. A simple 20-item minis-only tab (like a gear-only equip pack) would be plenty for most users, as the vast majority of players would not keep more than 20 minis at any given time. Those who do, well, they're a very small minority, and there are plenty of other storage tabs to use, if you're THAT attached to so many minis. The number of cells could be increased from 20 to 30 or 40 (the materials tab is larger than the others, not only by count but also by window size). This tab would be a cool gift for accounts turning 5 years old. :) The rest can wait, or buy a normal tab (or a mule if 9 tabs isn't enough). I agree with Rose of Cali. Way overdone, in my humble opinion. The idea of stacking minis only encourages hoarding and that leads to more economy issues. The basic premise is convenient, but spend ten bucks per charscter slot if you're addicted to minis. Thats how anet assures they can continue to create income now, by assuring that if you need more storage room, you'll have to create the dreaded "Storage Toon". Inconvenient? Thats the price we pay for being pack-rats. (And I IS one!) Filofax1us 10:47, 18 January 2010 (UTC)

'Kraal likes this' I totally agree with this! all mini's under one tab. where i don't think the split of the first, second and third year is needed (although that maybe down to the fact that i dont have many of the new ones. The ded/unded is definately a good idea. yes ok we've been given the new storage panes but that dosent change the fact that minis take up (2-3?) on thir own... No Stacking[edit]

But other than that I 100% agree that we need a mini-pet storage and something like The Savior has done here looks wonderful but don't make it stacking, maybe allow 3 whites, 2 purples and 1 of each gold/green if there is room but don't make them stack. Still, awesome idea with the icons like the mat storage and the seperate years and such. Please Anet give us something like this soon. I would pay $19.99 for this, unlike some stupid assed costume that everyone else has anyway. --Skekzyz 23:33, 23 January 2010 (UTC)

Pay WHAT? O_O User Rose Of Kali SIG.jpgRose Of Kali 03:09, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
I like how The Savior illustrated the entire idea with images and how it's structured. It is easily comprehensible even though it's a more complex one. But stacking unstackable items also sounds a bit strange to me, although i guess that it's theoretically possible. The problem that arises with dedicated and undedicated miniature when finding a possibility to store miniatures might be solved if you simply split the storage up into two, one for each sort of them, but subsection within one storage tab might get too complicated, at least when those are devided into the different categories of miniatures again. I think the minis should either be stackable or both dedicated and undedicated miniatures should be able to be stored in the same tab. —ZerphatalkThe Improver 22:34, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
I do not like the idea of minipets being stackable. Instead, IMO, a better solution is to make a 3rd type of mini. Currently, we have dedicated and undedicated; the 3rd type would be an untradeable type from an NPC. Other people have produced the idea to make a minipet NPC, similar to the Festival Hat NPC, that you can show a minipet to, and then can reproduce your minipet for 10 gold on any character on your account. These minipets, of course, would be untradeable. My own twist to this idea, what I think would work best in respects to minipet economy and financial resources for ANet, is to create an NPC that can create an untradeable minipet for you for 10 gold, but this NPC has access to only those minipets which have been dedicated in your Hall of Monuments. This would make it so one would first have to have an undedicated minipet before it would become available for this unique type of storage. Perhaps, these untradeable minipets could even be purchased at the monument itself. --MushaUser Musha Sigc.pngTalk 03:39, 19 February 2010 (UTC)

I do not like the idea of having to PAY for minipets--I've already bought some I didn't have, and EARNED the others by staying in this game for nearly five years now. My proposed idea is this: a storage tab in the Xunlai storage for minipets only, somewhat like the Materials storage, with one slot for each type, but non-stackable to prevent hoarders...I love my minis, and have kept every single one I've ever gotten (except for the Abominations...those were gross...LOL), and even purchased more to add to my collection. I've put them in the Hall of Monuments, but I don't want to get rid of them because I love taking them out and bringing them with me wherever I go. However, storing them is getting to be a bit tight! A tab for minis in the Xunlai would be FANTASTIC and I know a lot of people would love something like that... Eszule Cheiriste 04:29, 16 March 2010 (UTC)

Well, nice to see you're getting around already. And I made my own suggestion for mini storage: Feedback:User/Rose Of Kali/Minipet Nest. I think it trumps this, or the storage tab, even, because you can take it with you, but that's just me. :] User Rose Of Kali SIG.jpgRose Of Kali 10:41, 16 March 2010 (UTC)
More storage tabs just seems like it would be an infeasible task for ANet as it would take up SO much more server space and still wouldn't be enough. Kali's idea is great as it allows you to carry many minipets in only 1 inventory space. But I still think we need a general storage mechanism in play for minipets and I still think my idea is best for that: A storage NPC that uses the same coding as the festival hat NPC that can reproduce any minipet that you have dedicated in your Hall of Monuments, and, just like fetival hats and costumes, minipets reproduced in this way would be untradeable. --MushaUser Musha Sigc.png 17:16, 25 June 2010 (UTC)
The problem here is that minis are a tradeable resource. I posted on Musha's suggestion page why this is bad. User Rose Of Kali SIG.jpgRose Of Kali 13:46, 27 June 2010 (UTC)
