Well the idea of making prot monks less effective healers in PvP is nice but i noticed a few flaws in your suggestion.

  • First is Signet of Devotion, your version won't make it usable, it's recharge is too long and it's healing to small and it's signet disabling time doesn't help it either. If you want to improve it remove it's drawback and increase it's healing, the recharge can stay. Do remember that signets do not benefit from the Divine Favor bonus. The use of this skill together with Boon Signet isn't harmful either since it only affect Healing Prayers and Protection Prayers and not Smiting Prayers. It doesn't make smiting builds OP either as it isn't a skill to keep your team alive with either.
  • Second are Restore Condition and Mend Condition. The power of RC is the ability to remove all conditions, giving it a recharge of 3 won't change that power creep. Your version of MC would remove RC from the game as it can remove 3 conditions every 3 seconds and open up the elite slot making it even worse. MC does not need a change. What you could do is to give RC your version of MC's effect, but at a casting time of 1/4 and an increased recharge of 5 removing 1-3 instead of 0-3. To balance it out a bit remove it's drawback of cannot self-target making it an elite version of Mend Ailment. If it remains having that drawback you will have monks or other caster professions running around with "It's Just a Flesh Wound!".
  • Third is Orison of Healing, reduce it's healing.

What i do like are Blessed Light, Divine Intervention and Gift of Health. Those changes can put those skills back into the game. As for Supportive Spirit well if you ask me it's entire function itself is flawed since you are better off preventing a KD with Aura of Stability. If you want to keep it's effect like that decrease it's casting time to 1/4 so you can catch a KD. Well thats my piece of feedback for your suggestion. Da Mystic Reaper 17:49, 13 August 2011 (UTC)

You could also turn supportive spirit into a "Brace Yourself" which heals instead of damaging. On that note, I'd love to see monks get a self-targeting anti-KD. Monks would probably become more varied with this change alone, since you could actually bring energy management for other skills in GvG/RA instead of always being forced to bring stances.
  • Blessed Light = OP gonna bring back the monk flaggy.
  • Signet of Devotion sounds nice... its kinda useless right now.
  • Divine Intervention sounds nice too to prevent spikes. Also bring back hte Group healing stuff on DF
  • Restore Condition = Nice as it is, it's easier to counter with D-shot oder B-Block
  • Mend Condition sounds also nice, you can put another leet skill to your bar then "Aura of Faith" works well, may too well
  • Orison of Healing is nice as it is, but just in PvE, in combination with HB and/or UA it works well
  • Gift of Health interesting thing... this should be tested
