This does not belong in the guild section, need to move it to PvE monsters I would think. Nay the One and Only User Nay the One and Only SIG.png 09:42, 12 March 2010 (UTC)

Also, this would probably bring up a number of copyright issues with Wizards of the Coast. I noticed that your doppelganger shares many similarities to both 3.5 editions Doppelganger and the mindflayer (sucking vital organs out to kill victim). It also has several abilities similar to the pseudonatural template... Aquadrizzt User Aquadrizzt sig.png 02:12, 13 May 2010 (UTC)

The idea is a good one, but I'm concerned about the impact it would have on player communities, say a Doppleganger posing as a player engaged in conversation with one of their friends and the friend organised a dungeon ect. but the Doppleganger did not show up or was completely useless during the battles or did not heal or help their teammates at all. This could lead a player to have a bad name among others or be seen as unreliable so they will not be chosen or confided in for later events. Or what if during chat the Doppleganger said something that the other player deemed as abusive and they reported it? It would be difficult to discern what happened and the player could be banned for something they never did. Or if an actual player went around abusing people (for whatever reason :/) and then claimed that the offense was actually performed by a Doppleganger, a good concept but the chat and duping mechanics could potentially lead to the breakup of player groups and give a bad online gaming experience. --PhoenixDown 07:01, 28 May 2011 (UTC)
