Guild Wars Wiki talk:Requests for adminship/Burning Freebies

By your comments in your candidate statement, you really have no idea what a sysop does. You use words like leader and indicate you think it would give you power. Neither of these things have anything to do with what a true sysop does, or the role we play on this wiki. The only leadership we gain is the knowledge that we have earned the trust of the community to have access to tools that make the maintenance work necessary to keep this wiki functioning successfully. I think you need to spend less time on personal projects, and more time working for the benefit of the wiki in general if you ever hope to be trusted with the sysop tools. -- Wyn 07:43, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
