Imbalanced

An imbalanced build (often called "imba") typically refers to a party build that focuses or relies on multiple copies of the same skill or multiple party members of the same profession. Using multiple copies of one or more powerful skills, a team can often easily overwhelm an opponent not prepared for the specific threat that the imbalanced team poses.

This term is primarily used in the PvP community for a team who use a 'gimmick' build or are percieved to be abusing a certain skill. Some famous examples of imbalanced builds are Air Magic spike, Ranger spike, IWAY, Necro spike, Searing Flames builds, Paragon spike, and Hex teams.

In some of these cases, the skill or skills that created the imbalance in these teams were adjusted in skill balances, making such teams less powerful.
