The Guild Wars gameplay manuals, also called The Guild Wars Manuscripts, are the directions to how to play the game and also give some insight on the history and lore of the specific continent.
The manuscripts do not contain full guides to the game or all the information you could need, so many players prefer to use the Internet (either fansites or the official Guild Wars website) to get more information.
