Trivia

There is not a direct reference to "Victory or Death" in the Knights Templar -article in wikipedia (couldn't find any references by googleing either) but I just watched a documentary on Discovery about the medieval conquers in Europe, and as Knights Templar was mentioned it was said that a knight who returned from a lost fight would be dishonored, and the temple would only accept victory or death. Disagree. In truth, the origins of this date back even further than the Templar to the time of the Roman Empire. The phrase was first coined in a quote by the Roman General Scipio Africanus. April 1 Update

Was this part of a bad joke, or do you actually do extra damage with a "Big Deal" title? With the implementation described I don't see how it would be possible, and it goes against the design philosophy Guild Wars was founded on, but I wanted to check.Miss Innocent 22:50, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
