- Hi Lemming! I checked on this one, and nope, I don't believe it was originally intended to be a Futurama reference. Jeff mentioned that the name was, at one point, Benda. He put the "h" on the end of it to make it sound more Elonian. --

Bit of a inapropriate name?[edit]
