I love how every year people piss and moan about the masks. You always hear last years was better. Even though at the time every one complains about the last years.

True, it wouldn't be fair. But many people still would like some kind of pumpkin headpiece, even if they started with GW a few years late...like me. I still like the new masks, but they could be a little more halloween related by now. If i put on my christmas masks, everyone instantly sees what season they stand for. dident get this hat

i was at the event when he left he said here is a last present for everyone, but i dident get a mask. then i found a char mask on the ground, customised to someone else(i was still in lions arch,and i tought you cant drop stuff on the ground in towns) So i was wondering are there more peeps out there whit that bug?or could it be the game like randomly screwed up my name or something and then placed a hat whit a random hat on the ground. any ideas?

Yeah, if their inventory is full when they recieve the mask, it gets dropped on the ground. So they pick it up later after they have an empty space in their inventory. — Balistic 19:16, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

no my inventory wasent full and i was standing in the circle, i'm in the event atm(trying again). hoping it will work this time, and the mask i found on the ground was costimised to anoter player. and as players cant drop stuff in town i tought it could be some bug of sort(, or do you guys mean that i found the other mask cause someone elses inventory was full?then how come i could pick it up?)

Someone else's inventory was full, so their hat dropped on the ground. 10 minutes passed and it lost its assignment, like all drops. Then anyone could pick it up, but it's of no use to anyone except the original owner. Rose Of Kali 23:07, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

bad note

I am proposing the deletion of the note which states, "Ironically, does NOT allow you to pass by Charr undetected", as it makes absolutely no sense. If a Charr DID see you, it would not be tricked by a mask resembling a charr loosely put on a human body. (I'm talking as if Charr are real!) Also, if it was a REAL Charr head, the would most likely notice (not even going to talk about bloody, hollowed out Charr heads). Only a very new player would put on the mask and think they can get past Charr unnoticed. --'Mai Yi' talk 23:36, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
