take 2 crappy/mediocre skills (sever artery and hamstring) combine them, make it elite... and you get Crip Slash 05:56, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
by that logic, 10 energy == 2 adr?? --Lou-SaydusHow dare you put that damned dirty thing on me! 00:41, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
It stinks. Bleeding is a half-assed condition and Cripple can be gained through Hamstring. For an elite, I don't want to just be able to cause bleeding and cripple (after 6 strikes of adrenaline for that matter). --Eyekwah 11:46, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
To be fair, this is a pretty potent skill. It's good for making an exit, snaring a target for a spike, and generally causing havoc on your enemy party. FleshAndFaith 22:19, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

How is gash related to this skill, and how is there a synergy with gash? 66.126.158.67 05:29, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Use gash after creepling slash to inflict bleeding, crippled and deep wound. --lussh 05:33, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Doesn't explain why it's a related skill. One does +dmg and deep wound other does cripple and bleeding (no +dmg)--74.61.209.219 05:56, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
gash is related because it needs bleeding, crippling slash inflicts it.--lussh 06:28, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Fail Less (They obviously don't follow that "rule")--74.61.209.219 06:49, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
As someone once said, "DW synergies with anything that isn't dead." 76.89.81.150 02:58, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
Gash isnt related, its synnergy. related means they do the same thing 76.26.189.65 15:21, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
not really...it means that it Gash adds a positive element to Crippling Slash; that element being deep wound.
74.61.209.219 both of those skills are utterly outclassed by other elites , just happens that the average warrior is too dull to build arround something other then a dev hammer & shock axe. I should be thankful since more wins for my warrior.77.70.60.74 18:52, 2 November 2008 (UTC)

Notes[edit]

Are dumb btw.--74.61.209.219 06:50, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

yours's better. --lussh 07:00, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Isn't the blade a Notched Sword? King Neoterikos 22:40, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

Yea, I'll change it, how's that? Someone should probably reword it I think it looks a little too clumsy personally but I couuldn't come up with anything more...elegant. --Weaponmaster 22:52, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
If you're going to change it here, I suggest you also change the Elonian Dagger (rare) article to match it.. at the moment it still refers to Cripslash.. 92.239.41.229 19:31, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

TBH i think it look more like an Elonian Blade Hubbard User Hubbard sig icon.png The Dervish 11:45, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

Gon Dra=> In PvE this skill is by far beaten by Dragon Slash and 100b builds but in PvP cases, this skill is great. You charge up adrenaline with a spear (3 strike then rush in with enraging charge a 13 strength or 6 strikes with spear), go in (IMS or shadowstep), IAS like frenzy or flail, crippling slash=>gash. Your opponent gets 3 health degen, 20% max health less and 20% less healing and he is crippled so he can't run away and that only takes 3 to 4 skills (depends if you take enraging charge). you can then combine with apply poison (R) for 6 health degen, iron palm (A) for unblockable KD, test of faith (D) to remove guardian,... It is often followed by Sun and Moon Slash for unblockable damage: That takes away 1/2 to 2/3 of the opponent's life in 3 secs. if it's not heavy pressure, then your heavy pressure is one hit kill ^^. For those who are complaining about blocking, either bring anti stance like wild throw or charge up adre on a different ennemy to distract (for enchants take somethings to disenchant, there are a lot of them). (If you're comfortable with weapon swap, daggers for falling spider and nine tail strike.

Graphic[edit]

The description at the bottom says that the icon for this only appears in the game as a quest reward item. This is not the case, as the icon and skin resemble Jeahr's Daggers.98.124.27.250 03:28, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

Related Skills[edit]

Shouldn't Wounding Strike be a related skill? They both are melee attacks that inflict 2 conditions, one of wchich being bleeding.--71.252.22.204 14:57, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

The second condition is conditional on Wounding Strike. - J.P.User J.P. sigicon.pngTalk 15:01, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

Ah, Fair enough. --71.252.22.204 15:19, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
