Bug? or Feature?[edit]

I noticed while I was fighting Stoneflesh Mandragor (Which use Stone Sheath and Stoneflesh Aura) while using this skill. I still "gained" the 1 energy that I would have gotten if I had made a critical strike, but I didn't get the normal 3 energy I get (as expected). So is this energy gain from Critical Eye a feature, or bug? -kaheiyeh 07:34, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, this has been noted. A bug, seem like. Backsword 08:40, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

not a bug, the crit hit still counts, but the dmg is reduced and for assasisns the nrg gain is lost, unless your using crit eye you gain 1 nrg WHENEVER you WERE going to score a hit. Annoying And Deadly 02:29, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

no it clearly says You gain 1 Energy whenever you score a critical hit not "whenever you were going to score" and as u can't score a critical hit while under stone sheat it's a bug... lern2reed --Cursed Angel talk 02:54, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
no against stone flesh aura you gain two nrg when you have zelous daggers and this and NO rank in crit strikes, so it must be assumed as a bug or what is ment Annoying And Deadly 22:33, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
Well I'm inclined to believe it is a bug as both those skills cause immunity to critical strikes and this says you would gain 1 energy only when you make a critical strike, and you can't under these skills, so there should be no energy gain at all.kaheiyeh 04:56, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
The question about Stoneflesh Aura is whether it only makes critical strikes become normal strikes instead, in terms of damage, or if it's also in all other way that it prevents crits on you. There is a pretty big difference from Enemies are unable to land a critical hit on you and You gain immunity to critical hits, since the critical hit would still occur in no. 2, although it would have no effect. As if you have gotten a vaccine against something and you were supposed to become infected later. The disease would still enter your body, although not long enough to do any damage to it.
