Grasping Ghouls and experience[edit]

Tested with a level 16 character on an empty district (Korea d1). Confirmed that, if within aggro range, some Grasping Ghouls give experience. The exact mechanics are not clear, though, since once i got experience a few minutes after the first wave had died.--Fighterdoken 05:56, 23 August 2008 (UTC)

Yeah This is a great way to train to lvl 10 just switch to a non populated area with no-one in it and gain the first wave exp then switch

The exp comes into play when you jump to an empty district and run near the gate, only the first wave gives you exp. After that, you have to either move to another district or do what I do and jump to GH and back by clicking the button in the Guild pane and clicking it again to go back. --Stokoe Talk 19:19, 12 November 2009 (UTC)
How can this help with Survivor, if the Ghouls won't give any experience to higher level players? --Kristofferus 16:23, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
because you can get to lvl 10 fast easly and with little chance to die, and then go to eotn and either play with the attributes of a lvl 20 or dwarven brawl so yea it helps survivorAurenX 23:50, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
This was nerfed, the savants don't attack the ghouls and they start running around in a drunk manner. It needs to be removed from the page. 50.104.240.103 19:20, 18 November 2011 (UTC)

Odd choice of weapon[edit]

You know those White Mantle Savants who keep running back and forth up on the walls in this town? Well, I noticed that they're holding hammers. . . . Um, wouldn't bows be just a little more useful up there? ^_^;; 64.60.100.162 07:16, 26 January 2014 (UTC)
