"It counts itself as a recharging skill, and thus works well with..." don't really get that. Does or does it not count itself as a recharging skill? --83.117.25.125 21:52, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

Hopefully that's a little clearer. - User HeWhoIsPale sig.PNG HeWhoIsPale 21:57, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

Hehe, another skill with a longer concise description than the normal version. Morrock 23:26, 19 October 2008 (UTC)

Longer by one letter O.o Concise =/= Shorter btw. (4got2sign)~ WELL HELLO Chao 21:00, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
The note is inaccurate, and the skill description is wrong. Deny Hexes removes 0 hexes if it recharges instantly while no other divine favor skills are recharging. Use Glyph of Renewal to verify. MA Anathe 19:46, 5 September 2010 (UTC)
I can confirm this to be the case. Used it on both myself and an ally and both times it did not remove any hexes. --Curse YouCurse You(talk|contribs) 20:01, 6 March 2011 (UTC)

Synergy[edit]

Synergizes well with Smiter's Boon (PvP), AMIRITE?! --Curin Derwin 05:35, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

Youre right. It's worth putting in the notes. -- User Halogod35 Sig.png Halogod35 05:39, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
Isn't that a little misleading to the fact that you're essentially giving up a skill slot for a Divine Favor-based hex removal? xD --Curin Derwin 05:42, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
While I'm at it, should it be noted that the skill itself actually doesn't benefit at all for being in Divine Favor attribute? --Curin Derwin 05:43, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
Well, the benefit it gets for being in DF is that it counts itself now. Before it was put in DF, it didn't remove any hexes at all unless you had something else recharging! :o Cirian 18:01, 5 March 2010 (UTC)

Anomaly is off[edit]

It says "Deny Hexes will not remove any hexes if it recharges instantly", yet according to the description it removes one hex by default, and one additional hex for each recharging divine favor skill...meaning if it counts itself then it should remove 2 hexes by default, and one hex if it has an instant recharge --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 98.22.214.7 (talk).

The first sentence of the anomaly note states, "Deny Hexes actually removes a hex for each recharging Divine Favor skill, including itself." Context matters. –~=Ϛρѧякγ AHHH! (τѧιк) ←♥– 21:59, 31 October 2010 (UTC)
Thus, I would call it a bug (even if only a text bug) instead of an anomaly. Anyone else? --Emkyooess 13:18, 30 July 2011 (UTC)
I used that same logic when I changed it to be a bug before. An anomaly is when something functions inconsistently, a bug is when it's simply wrong. The skill has always functioned in the manner it currently does, but the description was changed in the February 25, 2010 update, stating that ArenaNet was updating the description to more accurately reflect the manner of function. However, they actually made the description incorrect in doing so (though slightly easier to understand). Since they only intended to change the description and not the actual skill functionality, it is the description that is wrong. Thus, in this case the text stating one thing and the skill doing another, however trivial, is a bug due to an oversight. --Curse YouCurse You(talk|contribs) 07:57, 30 August 2011 (UTC)

Bug?[edit]

TBH, thats not a bug or anomaly, its not uncommon for skills to include themselves in recharging category, like Enraged Lunge. --File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.pngChieftain Alex 20:41, 9 September 2011 (UTC)

See the above section (#Anomaly is off). --Silver Edge 02:34, 10 September 2011 (UTC)
